"Moral standards are decided by an individual. Morality is something you decide yourself. A leader like Lal Bahadur Shastri had resigned when there was a rail accident...If I was leader of the Opposition and was convicted by a court of law, may be I would have resigned," Hooda told reporters here on the sidelines of the ongoing budget session of the state assembly.
The noisy scenes in the Assembly led the Speaker to suspend INLD MLAs along with the lone SAD member present in the House for the rest of the day.
Hooda further said that by creating a disturbance in the House, INLD legislators have shown that they would not like to participate in any discussion on the said adjournment motion regarding the issue of uprightness in public life.
