WR to run special trains to Goa during Ganapati Festival

Western Railway (WR) will run fully reserved special trains from Bandra Terminus here and Ahmadabad to Goa to clear extra rush of passengers during the upcoming Ganapati Festival.
Train No. 09007, a bi-weekly AC service, will leave Bandra Terminus at 10.10 am on Mondays and Wednesdays and arrive at Karmali (Goa) at 01.20 AM the next day. The train will run on August 31 and September 5, 7, 12 and 14, a WR release said here.
In return direction, the train No.09008 will leave Karmali at 05.40 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and arrive at Bandra Terminus at 9.15 PM the same day. It will operate on September 1, 6, 8, 13 and 15 and have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier and AC chair car coaches.
Another special train (No.09418) will leave Ahmedabad at 4 PM on Saturday and arrive at Karmali at 3 PM on Sunday. The train will run on September 3 and 10.
On return direction, train No. 09417 will leave Karmali at 8.45 PM on Sunday and arrive at Ahmedabad at 6.30PM on Monday. This train will run on September 4 and 11.
Booking for both trains will open from July 3.
