Swine flu claimed five more lives in Gujarat, taking the toll due to the H1N1 virus to 392 since January this year, officials said today.
Apart from these deaths, 38 fresh cases of H1N1 virus infection were registered in the state today, taking the total number of swine flu positive cases to 6,186, a release from the state Health department said here today.
The deaths were reported from Surat, Vadodara, Gandhinagar, Sabarkantha and Devbhumi-Dwarka districts, it said.
The state government claimed that 5,295 patients have been cured so far.
