Yash Raj Films to honour Indian Paralympic medal winners

Yash Raj Films has announced that it will honour Indian athletes, who will win gold at the ongoing Rio Paralympics.
The film production company has also saluted Mariyappan Thangavelu for his historic gold win in men's high jump.
According to YRF, the Rs 10 lakh rupee cash reward for Rio Paralympics winners is to salute the indomitable spirit of sports and champions, against all odds.
"The studio believes to celebrate the sportsman spirit of these athletes. YRF is known to back sports subjects in Hindi cinema. With 'Chak De! India', Yash Raj Films had backed a subject few would touch- and won over audiences with an entertaining, powerful message in support of women in sport," YRF said in a statement.

"With 'Sultan', the film studio has repeated this feat- by once again batting for supporting sports in India and empowering women and lesser-privileged sections within the sporting arena.
