Fubhate reportedly had an appointment with Singh to discuss the 'Annewari' (value of crop) calculated and submitted to the state government by the district administration.
She said that she, along with her deputy Balasaheb Mangulkar, chairmen of various sub-committees among others, yesterday went to the Collector's office to meet him.
After keeping them waiting for over an hour due to other engagements, Singh asked Fubhate to meet him with five other members, she alleged, adding that she sought her entire team to be allowed for the meeting. The Collector turned down the request, she said.
A copy of the resolution would be sent to the state Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the Chief Secretary, Zila Parishad sources said.
When contacted, the Collector denied the charges, saying, "The Zila Parishad chief had sought my appointment and I granted it. But she never spelt out that she would meet with a delegation of Parishad members."
It is routine procedure to allow only five members of a delegation to meet the Collector, he said and added there was no ill-intent behind the incident.
