Alleging that the case was filed against him out of "political malice", he accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and others of "conspiring" to "fix" him.
"From the beginning, I was sure about getting justice. After a thorough inquiry, the honourable judge has given the stay," Yeddyurappa said in a statement.
"False case was registered against me just because of political malice. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Kempaiah (advisor to state home minister) and a few IPS officials had conspired to fix me. With their malicious conspiracy failing, people of the state have come to know what the truth is," he said.
Yeddyurappa had moved the court seeking quashing of the ACB proceedings against him in the case.
He has been accused of denotifying 257 acres of land out of 3,546 acres meant for Dr K Shivaram Karanth Layout, "bypassing" the Bengaluru Development Authority when he was the chief minister between May, 2008 and July, 2011.
