"Coming to this city I find the colours so beautiful and striking. From the yellow cabs, to the red polka dots on women's foreheads, Kolkata is a city so much identifiable with its bright hues," the petite Bollywood model-turned-actor told PTI here.
Evelyn, who was the show-stopper at the High Street fashion show of designer Jaya Mishra, said, "Initially I was not very much into fashion events, but I am always learning and picking up and enjoying the walk on ramp. It is cool."
"Also Deepika as an actor is also one I try to draw inspiration from. We bonded well in the movie during shoots," Evelyn, who is also acting in the flick Yaariyaan, said.
"Yah from Sydney with Love to upcoming Yarriyann all my films are frothy, youth-centric. So in a way I am portraying myself," she said.

Evelyn, who found designer Jaya's floral prints embossed on western wear and georgette robes, said she liked the combinations of ocean, blue and beige contrasts.
"I loved the collections, The robes, an amalgamation between Indian and western wears in three phases of the show, will be perfect for women with curves as well as having size zero," Bidappa, also involved in the choreography of the show, said.
"The idea is to create a street scene against which my collection will be unveiled, and
My designs exhibit the confidence and attitude of today's generation," Mishra said referring to fashion shows themed on High Street staged across world capitals.
