Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced the appointment of Yogeshwar Dutt, saying that he would work for the promotion of various schemes of the Health Department of the state.
Congratulating Dutt on the occasion, Hooda said that the wrestler has made the country proud at international level with his scintillating performance.
Dutt, while expressing his gratitude to the chief minister, said that "he was proud to be associated with a social cause".
Hooda also launched the Weekly Iron and Folic Acid Supplementation (WIFS) programme of Health Department by distributing folic acid tablets among children at a programme organised here.
He also launched a pentavalent vaccine under the State Immunisation Programme.
The chief minister said that vaccine would be administered to children of up to one year of age and would be available free of cost for all sections of the society at all public health institutions through the State Routine Immunisation Programme.
