The 13, comprising six batsmen, as many spinners and one fast bowler, are to be accompanied by former South Africa left arm spinner Nicky Boje, according to a media release from Cricket South Africa.

The aim of the camp is to ensure that these talented players are exposed to different playing conditions as well as giving them vital experience as part of their career development and growth, the release said.

Corrie Van Zyl, CSA's General Manager, Cricket, believes that this opportunity is crucial for the players at this stage of their careers.

"We have selected the most talented young spin bowlers and Black African batsmen for this camp," said Van Zyl.

"We identified some of the most talented Black African batsmen in an attempt to further develop their skill set. We want to develop their skill of playing spin bowling on spin friendly wickets which will stand them in good stead for the future," he added.
