Youth assaulted, thrown out of moving train in Ghaziabad

A 23-year-old employee of a private company was allegedly beaten and thrown out of a moving train today by eight persons after a heated argument over occupying the window seat in Muradnagar area.
The identity of the accused is yet to be established, police said.
Amit had a heated argument with the accused who belonged to Duhai village over a window seat in a shuttle train yesterday, they said.
However, the matter was sorted out after co-passengers intervened.
"Today, eight persons boarded the train at Duhai railway station and started beating Amit, who was going to his office.
"After that, they threw him out of the moving train," a senior police officer said here.

Amit was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition is said to be serious.
A probe into the case is on and the accused will be arrested soon, the officer said.
