Youth awarded 7-yrs in jail for attempted rape of minor girl

A youth has been sentenced to seven years in jail by a court here which found him guilty of the attempted rape of a seven-year-old girl.
The court of the Additional District Sessions Judge here yesterday passed the order against one Ashok Yadav and also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 after convicting him of the charges of attempting to rape the girl at Gopalpur village of Shamli district on May 5 of last year.
