The deceased, identified as Shyam, a native of Kerala, allegedly hanged himself from a ceiling fan at a rented accommodation where he stayed with three of his friends.
In a suicide note found close to the body, the deceased held no one responsible for his death, police said.
Shyam was pursuing a course in aeronautical engineering here.
His body has been sent to a hospital for postmortem, they said, adding that a probe into the incident is on.
