According to a suicide note, purportedly written by Navin Kumar, he had "jotted" down certain points on killing himself with the help of a rope, S R Nagar Police Station Inspector Md Waheeduddin said.
"According to the suicide note, the youth had listed a plan of action like how to tie the rope to the ceiling fan and how to tighten the nook by watching videos on the same on a social media platform," the Inspector said.
"As per the suicide note he was under depression and hence resorted to the extreme step," the police officer said, adding a case under section 174 CrPC was registered.
