In a bid to rejuvenate the Congress in West Bengal, the state's Youth Congress today announced that it would organise a rally here on Monday to protest against the "anti-people policies" of the central and the state governments.
"We have decided to launch an agitation against the state and the central government for their anti-people policies. We will organise a rally on September 21," State Youth Congress president Arindam Bhattacharya said.
The BJP at the Centre is trying to divide the country on communal lines, Bhattacharya alleged.
He said both Mamata Banerjee at the state and Narendra Modi at the Centre had made tall promises but both failed to keep them.
