Youth Congress members on Thursday demonstrated in Jaipur over issues of inflation, corruption and unemployment and tried to march towards the Rajasthan assembly.
"Unemployment in the state has risen and fuel prices are also skyrocketing, but the government is doing nothing. Therefore, we are holding this demonstration today," Congress MLA Ashok Chandna, who led the march, told reporters.
The members demonstrated near Sahakar road and tried to march towards the assembly building, prompting the police to use force and water cannon to prevent them.
