While pronouncing the sentence yesterday, District Sessions Judge Jitender Kumar also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on the youth, Firoz, after holding him guilty of the crime.
The judge also directed that Rs 20,000 out of the fine amount will be given to the victim girl.
According to prosecution, Firoz abducted the girl and raped her at Nirmana village in the district on January 7, 2011. Later, police rescued the girl.
