Youth hacked to death in village

A 28-year-old youth was today hacked to death in Narauli village in Dhanapur area here, police said.
Srikant, native of Narauli village, was hacked with an axe by unidentified persons, and his body was found lying in the field about half a kilometre from his house this morning, they said.
Members of his family said Srikant had left the house at about 8 am, and his body was found two hours later, they said.
An FIR has been lodged, but no arrests have been made so far, they said.
