Chief Minister Raman Singh, who also holds the finance portfolio, presented the Budget which seeks to give a push to 'Make in India' campaign that aims to make the country a manufacturing hub.
Emphasis on development of youth, infrastructure and industry would help in fulfilling the vision of 'Make in India' and a skilled India envisaged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said.
Singh expressed gratitude to Modi for reposing faith in states and working towards cooperative federalism in both letter and spirit.
About Rs 6,151 crore has been allocated for development of youth, which is equal to 16 per cent of the state plan outlay, the Chief Minister said.

Another highlight was allocation of about Rs 11,000 crore for infrastructure development, which is 39 per cent higher than the previous fiscal.
"About Rs 5,183 crore has been allotted for developing a road network which includes state highways and link roads to villages. Two thousand kilometres of roads will be developed under the Public-Private Partnership.
The Swami Vivekananda Airport at Raipur will be developed as per international standards. A new industrial policy has been formulated to encourage investment in Chhattisgarh. A global standard International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) will come up Naya Raipur (new capital city of Chhattisgarh) this year, the CM said.
Speaking about the health sector, he said Chhattisgarh is set to become the first state to provide nutritious diet to TB patients along with medicines.
