Akash received internal injuries in the fight with local boys in a park in Sadar Bazar locality on July 17, police said.
He was rushed to the trauma centre where he died of hemorrhage caused. He was kicked and thrashed with fisticuffs and sticks by the accused yesterday, police said.
His brother Sunny alleged that his brother was beaten by some local youths including Narender, Neeraj, Rahul, Gautam and their associates, all in their early twenties, said Surender Kumar, DCP (south west).
"The three accused Narender, Neeraj and Ajeet, all 21 years old, were arrested by the police while accused Laxman and Vishal are absconding since the day of incident and all out efforts are being made to arrest them," he said.
Police said Akash lived at Rana Pratap Bagh in Sangam Park area but was living with his grand mother Anguri in Sadar Bazar for some time. He was in Class XII.
"During enquiry, it was revealed that the quarrel happened between them over some old rivalry," the DCP said.
