Farhan (18) was killed and Abbas Mehadi (20), of Aliganj village in Sultanpur district wasinjured after their bike was hit by a speeding truck, Musafirkhana Police Station SHO Dipendra Singh said.
While, Farhan died on the spot, Abbas was rushed to CHC Musafirkhana where doctors referred him to district hospital in Sultanpur, Singh added.
Truck has been taken into police custody but driver managed to flee, the official said.
