Youth killed in tiff over delay in serving tea

A 20-year-old youth was murdered while his brother critically injured after they were allegedly stabbed during an argument over delay in serving tea in east Delhi's Jafrabad area here this evening, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Wasim while his elder brother Atiqur was injured in the attack.
The brothers ran a family-owned printing business and generally order tea for the office from a particular shop.
"As usual, around 5.30 PM they ordered tea from the shop. When the tea did not arrive in time. Wasim went to the shop to inquire where the stall owner Habib told something unpleasant to him. Wasim called his brother Atiqur and an argument ensued between the two parties which soon led to a scuffle," said a police official.
Habib called his relatives, one of whom attacked the two brothers with a knife.
Wasim's throat was slit while Atiqur sustained multiple injuries in the attack, police said.
Wasim succumbed to his injuries while Atiqur's condition was said to be serious.
Police has registered a case of murder following which Habib and two of his relatives have been arrested.
