Youth killed over financial dispute in Meerut

A 24-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death over financial dispute here, police said today.
The deceased has been identified as Vakil, a resident Lallapur, an area under T P Nagar police station.
"The family of the victim alleged that Vakil had a dispute over Rs 5000 with his neighbourer Rahul", a police spokesperson said.
"On Sunday evening, Rahul called Vakil on the pretext of attending a religious programme at his home. On the next day, his dead body was found near Malyana railway station in the morning," he said quoting the FIR.
The family has lodged a complaint in this regard and alleged that Rahul and his four friends were involved in the murder, he said.

Based on the complaint, an FIR was registered+ under relevant sections against the five people
Further investigations are on.
