Kunti Devi (55), who had inherited a piece of land after the death of her husband few months back, was shot dead by her husband's nephew Lavkush today, police said.
Lavkush was eyeing the piece of land since Devi had no children. She had recently called his brother's son Akhilesh to live with her.
A case of murder has been lodged against the accused, who are absconding.
