A missing report had yesterday been lodged by Kamlesh Kumar that his son Jaideep had not returned home, IG (law and order) B P Singh told reporters here.
Kamlesh today said Jaideep's body was recovered near Hansakhera village, Singh said, adding that the deceased was allegedly having an affair with a married woman who has been identified as Poonam.
She had called him to meet her near Sakatpur village on Monday night on the behest of her husband and brothers, after which they killed him, Singh said.
An FIR was lodged against eight people and five arrested in this connection.
