Press Trust of India New Delhi A 20-year-old man's body was today found at a school ground in northeast Delhi's Nand Nagri area.
The youth, identified as Karn, was a factory worker and lived with his family in Nand Nagri. He was allegedly strangled to death, police said.
A case of murder has been registered at Nand Nagri police station, a senior official said.
Yadav left his home around 4 PM after taking his lunch and told his wife that he was going to meet his friends. The body was discovered by a few boys who usually go to the school ground to play in the evenings, said the official.
It is suspected that Karn was killed by a friend or associate. The police found broken pieces of beer bottles and chicken bones at the spot, suggesting that some argument must have erupted between the victim and his associates during a party. Investigation is underway, the official added.
