Youth seeks action against DIC official

An unemployed youth here has demanded action against District Industries Centre's general manager alleging that he deliberately delayed his loan case and misbehaved with him, a charge denied by the officer.
Moushikhamb village resident Vikas Undirwade lodged a written complaint yesterday with District Collector against DIC's General Manager Santosh Kolte.
In his complaint, Vikas said that he had applied with the DIC in October last year for loan to set up a chicken selling shop.
When the case was sent to the Gramin Bank, its manager sent it back to the DIC asking Vikas to get the business activity changed.

The youth then met DIC's GM several times and urged him to change the business activity to readymade garments.
He alleged that Kolte did not pay heed to his request and insulted him. He said that since his loan case was pending, it was difficult for him to start his business.
Meanwhile, Kolte said he had asked the youth to bring a letter from the bank regarding change in business, and that is why the case was pending.
He also denied having insulted the youth.
