Metropolitan Magistrate Sudhanshu Kaushik sent accused Munshi Ram Yadav, 25, to judicial custody (JC) till March 16 after the police did not seek his further custody.
"The accused (Yadav) has been produced from police custody.... The investigating officer needs no further custody. The accused is remanded to judicial custody till March 16. He be produced from jail on March 16," the court said.
Yadav was produced in the court after expiry of his seven days' police remand. On February 25, Yadav was sent to police custody as the cops wanted to take him to Saharsa in Bihar to find out source of the weapon used in the crime.
According to the police, Yadav killed 25-year-old Pooja as she was against his relationship with another woman who was also allegedly working under her as a sex worker.

As Pooja was not allowing that woman to marry Yadav, he went to Bihar and bought a pistol and nine bullets to eliminate the victim, it said.
He has been booked under section 302 (murder) of the IPC and provisions of the Arms Act.
The accused was apprehended by some passers-by when he was trying to escape and handed over to police.
