Accused Mohammad Ali shot dead his friend Sohan (33) with a pistol after a heated argument yesterday, police said.
Ali dumped the body and sped away but the car overturned near Rayla area where the weapon, 11 live cartridges and Rs. 5.64 lakh in cash were recovered from the car.
"Ali was arrested and confessed to murdering his friend. He is being interrogated to ascertain the cause behind the murder", police said.
The body has been handed over to the family members after postmortem, they added.
