Youth stabbed to death for mistreating sex worker

A youth was stabbed to death by companions of a sex worker for allegedly mistreating her in Pratap Nagar area of the district, police said today.
"Daulat Meena, aged about 30 years, had called the sex worker last night at his friend's house. When Meena and his other friends mistreated her, she called her four companions to take her from there," DCP K Rastradeep said.
"When they reached there, Meena and his friends confronted them. One of the sex worker's companion attacked Meena with a knife leaving him dead. The accused absonded from the spot," he said.
"Two of the accused identified as Alex alias Ashraf and Neeraj have been arrested while two others are absconding and being tracked.

"Primary investigation revealed that the sex worker was not involved in the murder. She had called the accused after she was ill treated," he said.
