The visiting guests are here in the state as a part of expert team entrusted by the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, to conduct feasibility study and chose an appropriate site for proposed Film and Television institute, an official communique said here today.
Tuki, apprised the team about the development of film making in the state beginning with Dr Bhupen Hazarika "Mera Dharam Meri Maa" in the early eighties and also apprised them of the subsequent progress made both in Hindi and local languages by various young film makers.
"Beautiful landscape and scenery that matches Switzerland, colourful tribes and hospitable people that would mesmerize any film maker to opt Arunachal", he said.
Airfields at various locations are coming up soon which would improve the communication bottleneck to a great extent,the CM said.

Earlier on the day, the expert team called on Chief Secretary Ramesh Negi at his Niti Vihar office.
Negi said that Arunachal Pradesh has huge potential in creative fields and establishment of a film and television institute which will hugely boost the creative spirits of the youths besides promoting national integration.
