Youths loot 1 quintal gold from IIFL, Rourkela

In a daring robbery five youths looted 100 Kilogram of gold and cash at gun point from the local office of India Infoline Finance Limited (IIFL) this evening, police said.
At around 5.30 pm six youths entered the IIFL office even as a number of customers were present.
Though Max Lane was one of the busiest places in the steel city, no body could get an inkling of what was happening inside the IIFL office.
Manager Guruprasad Mohanty said the total gold stolen by them could be well over Rs 3 crore weighing one quintal.
The manager at the request of police asked for the video footage from the Mumbai head office of IIFL as the robbers had taken away the CCTV recording at the Rourkela office.

IIC Plant Site police station Upendra Pradhan said, "we are looking into all the angles.
