YSR Cong to move court for acceptance of MPs' resignation

YSR Congress (YSRCP) would approach court to get the resignations of its MPs, including party President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, accepted by the Lok Sabha Speaker.
The party would move court to get the resignations submitted by Jagan, M Rajamohan Reddy and S P Y Reddy, a Congress MP who recently joined YSRCP, accepted, the regional outfit said in a media release.
Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar today rejected the resignations submitted by 13 MPs from Andhra Pradesh, including ten from Congress and two of YSRCP, against the decision on Telangana statehood, holding these were "not voluntary or genuine".
The members who had tendered the resignations were S P Y Reddy, G V Harsha Kumar, A Sai Prathap, L Rajagopal, Sabbam Hari, Anantha Venkatarami Reddy, V Aruna Kumar, Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy, Bapi Raju Kanumuri, Rayapati Sambasiva Rao (all Congress), Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, M Rajamohan Reddy (YSRCP) and Konakalla Narayana (TDP).
