The second plenary session of the YSR Congress Party at Idupulapaya in Kadapa district on February 1 and February 2 would see organisational elections, including that to the post of President.
"The two-day session would take stock of the situation and review party activities during the year. The plenary meeting will be attended by over 9,000 members from all over Andhra Pradesh. Nominations for the post of YSR Congress President will be held on the first day. Voting, if necessary, will be held on the second day," YSR Congress leader Umareddy Venkateswarlu, who is also the returning officer, told reporters here today.
The YSR Congress Central Governing Council (CGC) would also meet on the first day to finalise the election schedule for its organisational polls, he said.
