YuppTV partners with Australia's Telstra for streaming service

YuppTV, an over-the-top content provider, today said it has tied up with Australian media firm Telstra to launch the YuppTV streaming service on Telstra TV.
The partnership will allow South Asian audience in Australia to subscribe to YuppTV on Telstra TV and access over 250 live TV channels, TV on demand, besides being able to access YuppFlix that will provide over 5,000 titles from Bollywood and regional languages, YuppTv said in a statement.
"With our largest collection of South-Asian entertainment content, we are optimistic that the new users will enjoy and appreciate our exclusive offering," YuppTV founder and CEO Uday Reddy said.
Telstra Director Media Propositions and GTM Serkan Honeine said, "We're really excited to be launching into the foray of international language content, beginning with YuppTV.
