The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), BJP's youth wing, Tuesday launched a website under its "Bihar Youth Ambassador" programme to connect with youths residing in the state and outside.
The site- bya.bjymbihar.org - was launched in the presence of party's national general secretary-cum-Bihar in-charge Bhupendra Yadav, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Bihar state president Nityanand Rai and state Ministers-- Nand Kishore Yadav, Prem Kumar and Mangal Pandey at a function held at party's state headquarters here.
The site would solicit suggestions and feedback from the youths in age group of 17-40 years, especially residing outside Bihar for the overall development of the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Modi appealed to youths to connect with Bihar, BJP and its youth wing 'Yuva Morcha' through the newly launched site and be part of Bihar's overall development by giving their valuable suggestions and feedback.
"I welcome the initiative which is really good...Youths, especially those who reside outside the state, should get themselves registered on the website and contribute to the development of Bihar with their valuable suggestions and feedback," Modi said adding that the state government would act on their advice.
Modi, who is also the finance minister, asked the youth wing to put out on the website about the programmes and activities being carried out in the state.
Talking about the initiative, BJYM president and MLA Nitin Navin told PTI "We are giving youths, especially non-residents Bihari (NRBs), a platform to connect themselves with the party and Yuva Morcha and contribute to the state's development."
