Zee Media Q4 net profit at Rs 18.26 crore

Zee Media Corporation Ltd today posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 18.26 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2016 on account of reduction in operating expenditure.
The company had reported a net loss of Rs 7.17 crore in the same quarter, last fiscal.
However, its net sales during the quarter under review was down 3.32 per cent to Rs 134.16 crore as against Rs 138.78 crore in the same quarter, a year ago, the company said in a BSE filing.
For the entire 2015-16, Zee Media reduced its consolidated net loss to Rs 6.91 crore as against Rs 46.65 crore in the previous fiscal.

Its net sales were down 0.78 per cent to Rs 536.21 crore in 2015-16 as against Rs 540.46 crore in 2014-15.
Shares of Zee Media Corporation today settled at Rs 18.30, down 0.54 per cent from previous close.
