Zen,Rockwell to showcase advanced aviation simulator solutions

Zen Technologies along with Rockwell Collins plans to provide advanced aviation simulator solutions to Indian customers.
Both entities recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to combine their strengths in simulation and training to offer advanced and high fidelity solutions.
Hyderabad-based Zen Technologies specialises in supplying ground simulation and training solutions. The firm is now looking to cater to the domestic aviation simulation market.
US-based Rockwell Collins, which has facilities in India, provides aviation simulation and training products, among others.

Teradata acquires Appoxee

* Data analytics solutions firm Teradata today said it has acquired Appoxee, a mobile marketing Software-as-a-Service provider, for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition was closed on December 17, 2014. Because they are not material to Teradata, the terms of acquisition were not disclosed, teradata said in a release.
Appoxee currently serves large and small companies across the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia. Teradata serves more than 2,600 customers worldwide.

Adobe SVP Naresh Gupta quits
* Adobe today said its Senior Vice President (Print and Publishing) India Managing Director Naresh Gupta has resigned after a 19-year stint with the publishing software maker.
Gupta, who helped build the R&D capability in India, will leave the company at the end of March.
Adobe India's R&D capability has more than 3,000 employees across two sites, Bangalore and Noida, and contributes to engineering across all of Adobe's businesses.
Gupta said he will pursue his "passion for entrepreneurship in financial markets".

Dassault Systemes appoints Gian Paolo Bassi CEO of Solidworks * Design software solutions firm Dassault Systemes today said it has appointed Gian Paolo Bassi Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its 3D design software brand Solidworks.
Bassi will spearhead development of Solidworks' future products and technology strategies designed for the desktop and the cloud and the continued collaboration with the brand's user community, it said in a release.
