Traders said sentiments turned bearish after zinc fell from a two-month high in global markets ahead of minutes of the Federal Reserve's March meeting and as the IMF forecast sustained weakness in global economic growth.
Meanwhile, zinc for delivery in three months dropped 0.7 per cent to USD 2,139.50 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, zinc ingots and copper mixed scrap were down by Rs 2 each to Rs 114-120 and Rs 408 per kg, respectively.
