Traders said sentiments turned better after zinc climbed in global markets as stockpiles tracked in London and Shanghai decreased and Goldman Sachs projected a global deficit this year.
Meanwhile, zinc for delivery in three months added 0.9 per cent to USD 2,359.75 a tonne at the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, zinc ingot and copper mixed scrap moved up by Rs 2 each to Rs 115-121 and Rs 432 per kg, respectively.
