Zinc prices traded marginally up by 0.08% to Rs 129.65 per kg in futures trading today as speculators enlarged positions, tracking a firm trend at spot market on pick up in demand.

At Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in June month edged up 10 paise, or 0.08% to Rs 129.65 per kg in business turnover of 1,127 lots.

Likewise, the metal for delivery in July contracts traded higher by 5 paise, or 0.04% to Rs 130.35 per kg in 60 lots.

Market analysts said speculators enlarged their positions, taking positive cues from spot market on pick up in demand mainly helped zinc prices to trade marginally higher at futures trade.
