Zinc futures prices today edged up by 0.51% to Rs 137.85 per kg as participants enlarged positions amid a firming trend at the London Metal Exchange.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in January was up by 70 paise, or 0.51%, to Rs 137.85 per kg, with a business turnover of 160 lots.

Metal for delivery in current month also rose marginally by 60 paise, or 0.44%, to Rs 137.75 per kg in a business volume of 370 lots.
