Zinc prices moved down 0.55% to Rs 109.40 per kg in futures market today as speculators reduced their positions, in tandem with a weak global trend.
In futures trading at Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery this month contracts shed 60 paise, or 0.55%, to Rs 109.40 per kg, in a business turnover of 1,245 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in February traded lower by 60 paise, or 0.54%, to Rs 108.65 per kg in a business turnover of 271 lots.
