MNF General Secretary Zobiakvela said the former Mizoram chief minister would be holding talks with Myanmarese ministers involved in the peace process between January 13 and 17.
The 17 Myanmarese underground groups, which would be involved in the peace dialogue include Karens, Kachins, Was, Chins, Arakanese and different ethnic groups inside Shan state, Zobiakvela said.
Zoramthanga, who was chief minister between 1998 and 2008, was successfully engaged in brokering peace between the Centre and the NSCN (I-M) and had gone to Bangkok a few times to meet Naga leaders including Thuingalen Muivah and Isaac Chishi Swu.
