Reuters Market Eye - Shares in Indian battery maker Eveready Industries India gain 2.5 percent, stock hovering near its highest since 1996; up about 339 pct YTD.

Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway agreed to buy Procter & Gamble Co's Duracell battery unit.

Buffett's purchase would lead to higher valuations for the sector - Traders.
