BERLIN (Reuters) - The German government's bridge loan to insolvent airline Air Berlin has not yet been paid but there is no delay to the schedule, a spokeswoman for the Economy Ministry said on Friday.
"The technical implementation of payment is ongoing. Everything is going according to plan," she said, declining to provide details.
The government agreed in mid-August to provide a 150 million euro ($179 million) loan to ensure that Air Berlin flights continue for a period of three months and to return holidaymakers to Germany and secure thousands of jobs.
