MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexican Economy Minister Ildefonso Guajardo on Friday said it was "impossible" that country-specific rules of origin could be included in the North American Free Trade Agreement, currently being renegotiated in Washington.
The government of U.S. President Donald Trump is exploring whether rules of origin, which set how much regional content must be included in products made in North America, could be tweaked to specify levels of content made in the United States.
