MUMBAI (Reuters) - The BSE Sensex and Nifty posted their biggest fall in 2-1/2 weeks on Friday, as blue-chips continued to be hit by concerns that weaker global markets would dent demand from foreign investors, although software firm Infosys Ltd surged after a profit beat.
The Sensex provisionally closed 1.21 percent lower at 26,315.44 points, while the broader Nifty fell 1.22 percent to 7,863.75.
Infosys provisionally gained 6.5 percent.
