WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump was expected to sign an executive order saying he intended to renegotiate the free trade agreement between the United States, Canada and Mexico as early as Monday, NBC News reported, citing an unidentified White House official.

Officials were not immediately available to confirm the report to Reuters. Trump's official schedule includes a 10:30 a.m. (1530 GMT) signing of executive orders in the Oval Office. The Republican president campaigned on a pledge to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement.
