The National Institute for micro, small and medium enterprises (ni-msme) is organising a one-day workshop on e-marketing for SME entrepreneurs on September 15.
The programme is being sponsored by Bombay Stock Exchange's SME platform, Andhra Bank and Canara Bank. It is aimed at exposing SMEs to increase the effectiveness of marketing efforts by embracing the online approach.
"Appropriate online presence for SMEs becomes very critical in the present era of globalisation. Managing marketing in the virtual space will facilitate the SME businesses to have better access to mass markets at an affordable cost and at the same time equip them to do marketing in a personalised manner," it stated.
