Total volumes in the wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) stood at Rs 477.99 crore.
This is lower than the volumes day before yesterday when it had shot up to Rs 914.36 crore. Yesterday, total trades in corporates debentures stood at Rs 1089.68 lakh.

Total traded value for the week stood at Rs 1897.68 crore.
Interest rates in the inter-bank overnight money market which had shot up to over eight per cent on Thursday climbed down to rule in the band of 6.50 per cent-7.50 per cent yesterday.
Among the government papers, there was a lot of trading interest in the recently auctioned central government paper 12.14 per cent 2000.
This paper was traded for Rs 101 crore, at a yield of 12.12 per cent.
While the 11.64 per cent 2000 was also traded for Rs 150 crore at a yield of 12.30 per cent, the 12.69 per cent 2002 fetched Rs 45 crore at 12.58 per cent.
In the treasury bills segment the 364-day treasury bills maturing on July 4 this year was traded at a yield of 7.10 per cent.
Among corporate debentures the zero per cent Reliance Petro 2001 and the 17 per cent Punjab Wireless System Ltd 2000 were traded.
